Give a Heart To Africa is currently seeking volunteers to teach one of its 3: subjects, English, business and computers. No prior experience is required as we have detailed lesson plans for volunteers to follow. Volunteers teach Monday through Thursday, 9am to 12pm. Monday and Thursday afternoons we run an after school program for small children,on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons we offer our adult students extra help. Every Friday we visit two of our students in their homes, meet their families, share a meal, and chat which makes for a wonderful cultural exchange. We have also started a women’s cooperative in town. Volunteers are free to visit our cooperative at any time, spend time with the women, and offer business advice. Our volunteers stay anywhere from 3 weeks to 3 or more months.
