Opportunity Description:

Water Polo West, the official Provincial Sport Organization for water polo in BC, is seeking volunteers to sit on its provincial Board of Directors.

 

Board positions last one or two years. The commitment would require roughly 5-8 hours per month.

 

The role requires being fair and open minded, and believing in the benefits of sport.

 

About Water Polo West

Water Polo West is British Columbia’s official Provincial Sport Organization (PSO) for water polo. Water Polo West is recognized by viaSport, the provincial government’s lead delivery agency for sport programs.

 

​Water Polo West is guided by best practices in the sports management field. Following these best practices, the Board of Directors is largely formed by volunteers outside of the water polo community.
