Opportunity Description:

Camp Goodtimes provides a safety-focused, medically supervised, fun and recreational experience for children and youth with cancer and their families. Join our extraordinary volunteer team of 200+ and support children and youth with cancer and their families. Volunteers can select one (or more) summer session – which is only 4 or 5 days long. Also, since we are a residential camp, volunteers are expected to complete our mandatory (but FUN) Overnight Training Weekend from Saturday, June 3rd to Sunday, June 4th. Session Dates: Kids Camp 1 – Tuesday, July 4 to Saturday, July 8 Kids Camp 2 – Monday, July 10 to Friday, July 14 Family Program 1 – Sunday, July 16 to Wednesday, July 19 Family Program 2 – Friday, July 21 to Monday, July 24 Kids Camp 3 – Thursday, July 27 to Monday, July 31 Family Program 3 – Wednesday, August 2 to Saturday, August 5 Teen Program – Monday, August 28 to Friday, September 1   Volunteer Roles: Camp Counsellors Arts & Crafts Team Dining Hall Team Certified Lifeguards Registered Nurses Minimum Requirements: Must be 19 years of age, or older Proof of Measles, Mumps and Rubella vaccination First Aid and CPR-C certification Original Criminal Record Check, incl. vulnerable sector NLS Award – lifeguards only   Learn more at www.campgoodtimes.org/volunteer
