Ignite the Warmth Society is a grassroots, registered non-profit organization aiming to bring awareness to the issues of homelessness and poverty through three main fronts: facilitate, educate, and communicate. Our goal is to explore how we can begin to eliminate that stigma of homelessness and how students can engage with the issues of poverty that exist in our own neighbourhood.
Ignite the Warmth is currently seeking a volunteer passionate about community development and communicating social issues like poverty and homelessness. As the corporate relations coordinator, the applicant will serve on the executive committee and work closely with stakeholders and companies to create corporate partnerships, seek funding and sponsorships, and maintain relations with community partners.
Training and mentorship opportunities will be provided.
