Finance Team Director of Finance Duties and Responsibilities – Create annual budget for the organization – Oversee, review and adhere to budgets for each department – Prepare monthly and annual financial reports – Update and implement financial policies and procedures – Create and maintain a financial policy handbook for the organization – Assist Fundraising and External Communications department with the preparation of budgets for funding applications Job Specifications – Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles – Proficiency in the use of computer programs for accounting, word processing and spreadsheets – Demonstrate competence in solving problems, planning and organizing
