South Asian Family Association (India Live – Granville Street Block Party)

The South Asian Family Association is leading an upcoming event in our community. SAFA’s annual celebration of art, culture, and history in downtown Vancouver is a fun and eventful afternoon for the whole family. This year we will be showcasing cultures from all around the world. This event will be an opportunity to gather some volunteer hours and a reference letter on behalf of SAFA. India Live is taking place on August 25th, at 700 Granville Street, Vancouver. Volunteers will be required to work one of two shifts, 10 AM to 2 PM or 2 PM to 8 PM. The main tasks include guiding attendees and vendors, assisting with set-up and take-down, and manage SAFA information booth. The South Asian Family Association is providing reference letters to all the volunteers in attendance alongside volunteering hours.
