Opportunity Description:

Helping Spirit Lodge Society, Journey Home Program is looking for several volunteers to assist with: – Social Media updates – Supporting clients in the computer lab – Researching housing options to update the Affordable Housing List – Moving and delivering furniture – Collecting/organizing/delivering donations to several sites – Hair styling for client interviews – Seamstress for altering clothing If you would like to share your expertise/skills with us please reply and we will send you out an Volunteer Application form. If you could also include your contact information it would be most helpful. All Volunteers must be able to obtain and maintain a Criminal Record Check. We also require a current Drivers Abstract for anyone who will be driving. Mileage will be reimbursed at .50/km. Some volunteer options can be done from your home. We are looking for a minimum of 2 hours per week and 3 month commitment.
