Opportunity Description:

This fall marks the Third annual McSpadden County Fair! The Fair will be held at McSpadden Park on September 9, 2018 and will bring our vibrant community together for a celebration of harvest time fun.

The McSpadden County Fair will continue to pair the favourite traditions of country fairs with the diversity of urban living. Features will include:

pie/canning/garden basket contests
a fantastic raffle featuring amazing local products and services
live music
games and activities for families
delicious food trucks
amazing prizes
information booths on sustainable urban agriculture practices like beekeeping, gardening, chicken rearing, and effective recycling
and of course….the East Van favorite…ZUCCHINI RACES!!!

Volunteers are needed to help with the site set up and maintenance, selling raffle tickets, judging contests, running the zucchini races, and more. Two to three hour shifts from 10am to 6pm.
