Opportunity Description:

Support UBC’s Anxiety, Stress and Autism Program by Volunteering at the Rubber Ducky Half Marathon!
On October 20, 2019, the annual Rubber Ducky Fun Run will be supporting the ASAP Lab. This beautiful 5K, 7 mile, and Half Marathon course circles Burnaby Lake, giving you the opportunity to enjoy fresh air, exercise and lots of chances to view birds and animals in a stunning wildlife sanctuary.

Volunteers needed!

Pancake station, water stops, medal distributors and even more awesome volunteer opportunities are available to help run this fun run circling the beautiful Burnaby Lake.

This race is an opportunity to be active while enjoying the scenic trails of Burnaby Lake. Most importantly, you’ll be raising awareness and funds for a great cause—UBC’s Anxiety, Stress and Autism Program.

Volunteer roles are simple and require little training or time commitment outside of the actual event on October 20, 2019. The race is over by noon and delicious pancakes will be served to all volunteers.

If you are interested in helping out, simply send an email to Pacey1@mail.ubc.ca.
