POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Volunteer will be volunteering “behind the scenes” receiving stock that is to be sold in our downtown gift shop. Receiving involves checking shipments that come in, opening packages, ensuring there is no broken stock and the correct amount was shipped, entering and scanning stock onto our computer into our POS system. Training will be provided. Funds raised in the Gift Shop go towards St Paul’s Hospital and the patients.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Able to work independently (once trained), good with computers, pay attention to detail, reliable, responsible, organized, can follow directions, task orientated, good at learning new things. Experience receiving stock or related experience is an asset.
Long term Commitment is required. At least 6 months but longer is preferred. Shifts are once a week for 2-4 hours. Shifts can be flexible but must be done between the hours of 8am-4pm on a weekday (when the Gift Shop Manager is working).
