Opportunity Description:

Portobello West Artisan Market, featuring 65+ local BC artists, designers and producers is looking for enthusiastic volunteers for their Annual Spring Market (Sat & Sun, April 22 & 23 10am-5pm), returning to Roundhouse Community Arts & Recreation Centre, located at 181 Roundhouse Mews in Downtown Vancouver!

Patrons can shop safely from our curated selection of exquisite offerings, including fashion, jewellery, art, home decor, skincare, & more and then stay and sample tasty offerings from one of our onsite Food Trucks! Rain or shine! Admission: $5 Adults and Children Free (12-Yrs & under)!

Portobello West is indebted to the people behind the scenes who generously donate their time and efforts, in order to bring the magic of local BC Markets to fruition. We’re looking for enthusiastic candidates who are passionate about people and our local art and design entrepreneurial community to join our team of volunteers!

Volunteering for Portobello West is a great resume building opportunity for students, graduates and interns seeking a career in event planning, hospitality, public relations, or project management. All volunteers will receive a Portobello West Volunteer Certificate of Appreciation, specifying the number of hours worked! Complimentary Starbucks coffee will be served during Saturday am setup and complimentary lunch provided for Volunteers working a full-time shift! Volunteer tasks include event setup, public lineup management, vendor relations, and event teardown!
