Seeking environmentally conscious volunteers to help with promotion of this fundraising event (see below and FB event page for more details) over the next few weeks and/or on the day of the event to help with set up, operation and clean up. All proceeds will go to supporting First Nations’ legal defense against Petronas LNG and Kinder Morgan pipeline expansion. Event Details https://www.facebook.com/events/1409112515844373/ Kinder Morgan’s pipeline and tanker project poses unacceptable risks to our oceans and waterways, our climate, economies and communities. It must never be built. Four First Nations have vowed to stop it in the courts, so people, businesses and community groups are raising funds to support them. Half of the proceeds of this event will be used in support of the Cold Water, Tsleil-Waututh, Squamish and Secwepemc First Nations’ legal challenges opposing the proposed Kinder Morgan expansion.
