Opportunity Description:

As a volunteer in this program you are the first contact for community members, local employees, and visitors when in need of assistance in person or on the phone. Duties include
– Answering telephones and directing calls when required.
– Addressing users of the WECHCPC by greeting them, in person or on the telephone, and tends to user concerns.
– Actively listening and providing support to users via telephone or face-to-face.
– Completing accurate and thorough reports of user concerns and documenting referrals given.
– Conducting administrative tasks and projects (i.e. word processing, data entry, photocopying).
– Workspace maintenance activities such as cleaning, supply organizing, disposing of garbage and recycling.
– Maintaining security by following WECHCPC Health, Safety and Security policy.
– Contributing to organizational cohesion by working cooperatively as a reliable team member to complete volunteer assignments.
– Maintaining continuity of work by verbally reviewing activities and handing off assignments to other volunteers at end of shift.
