Opportunity Description:

 

The Graphic Design Coordinator position is responsible for the company’s visual communication through various media outlets throughout pre-production and production of Carnaval Del Sol.

 

Job Summary and Key Responsibilities

Working with team members to plan, develop and deliver strategies to promote events
Creating original concepts for all applications; print, web, mobile, presentations, etc.
Exploring new design platforms
Producing high quality work under pressure and within tight time frames
Create Carnaval del Sol general posters
Create banners for website
Posters for each event during Latin American Week
Posters for each plaza and specials activities at Carnaval del Sol
Create flyers with site map and schedule of event
Create all advertisement material, such as bus shelter, bus stop and other
Create Vendor and Sponsor Package
Create special posters for volunteer
Support material for street promotion
Create banners, profile pictures and posters for Facebook
Compiling a wrap-up report at the end of the volunteering period

 

Skills

Self-starter
Ability to work with flexibility, positive energy and commitment
Good organization, communication and social skills
Ability provide support to the rest of the Graphic Design team
Strong written and verbal communications skills in English
Ability to communicate design concepts effectively
Excellent attention to details
An innovative and creative nature
Knowledge of, and access to Adobe Suite is a must
Excellent time management skills
Highly responsible with timelines and deliveries
Must provide current portfolio for review
Be able to work closely with project manager and Graphic Design team
Enthusiastic attitude towards designing and working with team members
