Opportunity Description:

 

The Fundraiser Specialist is in charge of communicating with potential and existing sponsors in order to identify both sales opportunities and find solutions for sponsors’ problems. The person in this position is part of the sales team and reports to the Sales Team Lead.

 

Job Summary and Key Responsibilities

Identify sales opportunities and solve problems
Suggest, assist in identify, and setting up of sales strategies for sponsors
Search and contact new businesses on a daily basis
Answering incoming sales calls
Providing information on the company services
Follow up on leads to generate new sales opportunity
Negotiate, prepare and manage proposals and contracts
Establish maintain and develop excellent and long lasting relationship with Customers
Search all possible sponsors and reach them via email or phone.
Update the Sponsors List on the drive
Create a speech and a model email to send them
Help the Sales Lead to develop a Sponsor Package (Work closely with Graphic Design Team)
Set up meetings, if needed
Create special proposal for each sponsor, if needed
Apply for online sponsors
Send them Thank You notes after the event
Be in touch with them until the event coming
Promote each sponsor in our pages, posters, banners

Have strong written and verbal communications skills in English
Ability to multitask and work towards deadlines
Strong problem solving skills and positive attitude
Ready to take sales calls from and to potential vendors
Ability to work as a team as well as independently on projects
Ability to work with flexibility energy and commitment
Previous experience in customer relations and/or sales is an asset
Knowledge of Spanish or Portuguese is an asset
