Opportunity Description:

Due to the COVID Pandamic we were forced to discontinue or our daily  free coffee service for our customers who work in the Downtown Eastside and collect refundable beverage container sand bring to recycling depot at 449 Industrial Avenue . We have remained open so these marginalized individuals still have a safe place to return their containers for a full refund . To resume the free coffee service we must serve each customer so we can adhere to the new government guidelines

  • require 1 person per day from 7.15 A.M. – 11.00 A.M.
  • we are open 7 days per week and holidays
  • the host will brew coffee and respectfully serve each customer
  • our customers are primarily individuals who live in the DTES
  • flexible shift scheduling
  • we can assure you that this is an extremely rewarding volunteer job as you are truly giving back to the community and those less fortunate
