Opportunity Description:

The Color Run is less about your 10-minute-mile and more about having the time of your life! The Color Run is the #Happiest5k on the Planet!   THE EVENT: The Color Run, the world’s first COLOR 5k™ event, was founded in March 2011 as an event to promote healthiness and happiness by bringing the community together to participate in the “Happiest 5k on the Planet”. We are the original paint race and have created a completely new genre of COLOR DASH™ running events that continue to grow exponentially. Now the single largest event series in the world, The Color Run has exploded since our debut event.   THE CHARITY: The Chill Foundation – Chill.org/Vancouver. Chill inspires youth to overcome challenges through board sports. We provide youth development programs for at-risk and underserved youth in Metro Vancouver, using board sports as the vehicle to teach life skills, self-esteem and confidence while offering a safe and inclusive space for all to participate and grow. Chill focuses on the resiliency of our participants to help them reach their full potential. Their current situations don’t have to define them or determine their path in life; Chill helps them to realize alternatives beyond the struggles they are dealing with.     Location Cloverdale Rodeo Grounds: 6050A-176th St. Surrey, BC V3S 4E7   Dates & Times Friday Sept. 1st shifts – 10:30am-3:30pm, 3:00pm-7:30pm (includes free registration to the race!)
