Opportunity Description:

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY – INTERNATIONAL CHINA CONCERN (ICC)
Help to give love, hope and opportunity to abandoned and disabled children in
China.
On Saturday, September 28, International China Concern (ICC) will organize an annual walk-a-thon called “Walk the Wall”. Since we don’t have a Great Wall of China here in Vancouver, the event takes place at Stanley Park. The walk is 10 kms or 3kms long and participants from all over the world sign up, get sponsors and walk with a purpose, raising money for hundreds of abandoned and disabled children in China.
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers for shifts ranging from 7am to 1:30 pm on
September 28. Duties may include but are not limited to serving as an event marshal, being on the welcome team and assisting with site decorations.
