Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver (BBGV) (Youth Mentor – Game On!)

Have fun, de-stress, and feel like a kid again with our Group Mentoring program, Game On!

Through fun physical activities and active play, complemented with balanced eating support and snacks, participants are engaged in life skills, communication, and social-emotional health discussions to encourage a life-long healthy lifestyle. This program provides youth Mentees with information and support to make informed choices about a range of healthy lifestyle practices.

Game On! is an 8-week program, once a week for 90 minutes, and is offered throughout the year at schools and community centres throughout Greater Vancouver.

Our volunteers are of all genders and come from diverse backgrounds. For this position we are looking for male-identifying volunteers.

As a volunteer, you can make a positive impact on the community, gain a sense of personal reward and fulfillment by contributing to a child’s self-esteem, develop a more positive attitude, which leads to greater productivity at work and makes a new friend.
