Calling all newcomer youth in Vancouver! The Youth Leadership Millennium program (YLM) at S.U.C.C.E.S.S is open to registrations for 2022 -2023! YLM is an 8-month leadership program that is FREE for all Canadian citizens and permanent residents ages 15-30 living in the Vancouver area.
The program aims to build leadership through outdoor recreation, community service and weekly workshops. We focus on topics such as public speaking, career planning and personal development. Alongside a cohort of peers, you will graduate from the program with professional certifications, volunteer experience, a polished resume and cover letter and numerous outdoor fun activities under your belt! Our program this year features four cohorts aiming to start in early June. We are operating under a hybrid model, with field trips hosted in-person and weekly workshops held via Zoom video conferencing.
Potential certifications offered at no cost: Remote First Aid, Emergency First Aid, WHIMIS, Food Safe, Excel Training, Mental Health First Aid.
