Are you enthusiastic about supporting local small businesses? Join us as a volunteer at this year’s Portobello West Summer Market and help contribute to the welfare of our community!

Portobello West is on the lookout for enthusiastic volunteers for their annual Summer Market on Saturday, August 3rd, 2024. This year’s market is open from 10am – 5pm and will showcase 35 local vendors with fashion, jewelry, art, food, and more!

Portobello West seeks individuals with passion, dedicated to our local art and design community. If you have an interest in both meeting new people and creativity, we welcome you to be a part of our volunteer team!

As a volunteer, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for both vendors and visitors. Your involvement will help support local businesses while fostering a sense of togetherness within the community. Key Responsibilities Include:

• Assistance with Setup and Takedown: Set up and take down Portobello West marketing materials.
• Customer Interaction: Engage with market visitors in a friendly manner, redirecting them to staff if they have any questions.
• Vendor Support: Help vendors with their needs throughout the day, giving them breaks, and answering questions.
• Crowd Management: Help manage the flow of foot traffic to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
