JOIN OUR HAUNT TEAM Haunted Circus is currently searching for reliable and trustworthy individuals who are passionate about the haunt industry as various Live Performers to help scare our guests. If chosen to be a part of our Haunt Team you will be invited to participate in an actor training workshop where we will work with you to build your haunting skills. Working for a haunted attraction is very physically and mentally demanding work. However, it is one of the most rewarding experiences you will have all year. Seeing visitors just absolutely lose their minds, screaming at the top of their lungs, flailing away in a mad panic. At most jobs if your customers react like that, somebody’s is getting sued. And think about it: what other form of theatre gets that kind of a reaction from an audience? You might get some laughter and tears doing a local performance of Fiddler on the Roof, but we’re betting you hardly ever see anybody act like that. Requirements Reliability Ability to wear a costume (including face mask, face paint, latex, silicon and/or make-up.) A genuine passion for scaring people. Good knowledge of the Haunt Industry. Good communication skills. Ability to work in dark and confined spaces. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Location & Time The Beaumont Studios – 316 West 5th Avenue, Vancouver, BC October 14th – 31st 6pm-10pm Sun-Weds. 6pm-12pm Thurs-Sat.
