Join us this July 1 at the 2018 Canada Day Drumming Celebration (Vancouver), an exciting nation-wide initiative celebrating and recognizing the diverse culture and inclusive society in this country we call home! Oh, did we mention that we’re also going to try to set a Guinness World Record? !
Event Overview:
Organized by the Legacy 150 Celebrations Society, a registered non-profit organization, the Canada Day Drumming Celebration aims to shed light on Canada’s cultural diversity while inviting drummers from 50+ nationalities to perform and attempt to set the Guinness World Record for “Most Nationalities in a Drum Circle.” This event will take place on Canada Day in 9 cities across the country, including Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Winnipeg, Regina, Calgary, Edmonton, with Vancouver being the national centre.
