This is achieved through the activities of training for all levels, ages, and body types; sharing the arts and celebrating unique voices in performance; and producing events designed to gather communities together.
Theatre Under the Stars Musical Society (TUTS) is non-profit professional/volunteer hybrid arts producer with a mandate to present quality family entertainment in the form of full-scale musical theatre productions, and provide training opportunities in performance and production to community members and aspiring professionals. TUTS achieves this through a unique collaboration between professionals and volunteers working together in administration, performance, production and venue operations. Presented at Malkin Bowl in Stanley Park, Vancouverites have long considered TUTS a summer cultural tradition with average attendance of approximately 40,000 patrons per year.
Indian Summer Arts Society (ISAS) is a Vancouver-based not-for-profit secular arts organization founded in 2011. We are dedicated to promoting, showcasing and building public awareness of artists of South Asian origin in the performing, visual, literary, culinary, and folk arts and fostering dialogue between Canada and South Asia, and within communities in Canada.
VAN EXPO thrives on producing and hosting a series of events, shows and fundraisers in the Greater Vancouver Area. Our mission is to entertain, stimulate and educate the general public on important causes, all while raising awareness, contributions and assistance to charitable organizations.
These events are also a way to open the door of opportunity for local businesses while giving back to the community. The BC Highland Games is a non-profit, volunteer-run event. The 89th BC Highland Games will be held June 20, 2020 at Lafarge Lake Park in Coquitlam. The Games attracts more than 10,000 individuals, families, pipe bands, competitors, vendors, heavy event athletes, dancers, singers, Gaelic speakers and lots of artisans. We had 180 volunteers in 2019, and we are now looking for one (or two) Volunteer Coordinators to run our crucial volunteer program. All the templates and resources are available, including last year's Vol. Coordinator. It's a job that starts now.

Community Arts Council of Vancouver (CACV) was the first arts council in North America and will celebrate its 75th Anniversary in 2021. Since 1946, CACV has been a contributor to shaping the cultural life of Vancouver through development of the Queen Elizabeth Playhouse Theatre, City of Vancouver Archives, UBC School of Music, Museum of Vancouver, Vancouver International Film Festival, The Opheum and others. CACV is an independent non-profit charitable organization, unaffiliated with any government department.

CACV programs address social exclusion and accessibility of creative opportunities, Indigenous and non-Indigenous relationships, and sustainability in the arts sector including Reframing Relations, Vancouver Outsider Arts Festival, Community Arts Network – GATHER, and Artist in Residence partnering with John Howard Society of the Lower Mainland.
CACV completed a new 3-year strategic plan in 2019, including a comprehensive capacity enhancement plan.
