The Chinese Canadian Museum Society of British Columbia was founded in March 2020 as an independent, non-profit society to establish and operate a public museum in British Columbia honouring Chinese Canadian history, contributions, and living heritage. The Chinese Canadian Museum will be a testament to Chinese Canadian experiences, foster respect, inclusion, and collaboration among all communities and across generations. Telling stories through the diverse voices of Chinese Canadians is central to the development of CCM. West Coast LEAF’s office is located on the unsurrendered homelands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and səl̓ílwətaʔɬ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations (also called Vancouver, BC). West Coast LEAF is a legal non-profit and charitable organization with a mandate to advocate for inclusive and intersectional gender equality. We use law reform, public legal education, and litigation strategies to achieve systemic transformation, collaborating directly with communities impacted by gendered harms. We are committed to advancing an inclusive vision of feminism that defends the right to be free from discrimination based on gender identity and gender expression. Streetohome strives to broker the integration of evidence-based and promising practices that address gaps in the homelessness services system to better meet the employment & volunteering; education, skills & training; health & wellness; housing; legal & advocacy; and community & belonging needs of vulnerable individuals.

DC Coding Association is a non-profit organization located in BC, Canada that offers free coding related courses to children. We want to help those who really want to learn how to code but they may have financial difficulties. Our goals are to: - To offer free or affordable high-quality coding classes to children and youths who really want to learn coding but their family has financial difficulties. - To allow more children and youths to have the chance to learn coding. - To give a place for more children and youths who love coding to collaborate and communicate together. - To make underserved communities better by providing this service and to remove barriers for those who want to learn and enter the coding industry.

Protein Project subsidizes much needed protein for Food Banks in BC & Alberta. The Protein Project is a community partner in the 50 Million Meals Campaign offering Fair Trade Kampot Pepper - the best pepper in the world. If 1/10th of one percent of pepper lovers chose Kampot Pepper we can deliver 50 Million Meals through the food bank system.

The Vancouver Holocaust Education Centre (VHEC) is seeking qualified and enthusiastic individuals to join our dedicated team of docents – volunteers who share a passion for human rights and social justice, through Holocaust-based anti-racism education. Volunteering as a docent is a wonderful opportunity to share your dedication to the pursuit of a more just world, supporting programs the aim to empower students and the general public to become upstanders against antisemitism and other forms of racism. About the VHEC The VHEC is devoted to Holocaust-based anti-racism education and commemoration, reaching more than 25,000 students each year. The Centre produces thematic exhibitions as well as holds Western Canada's largest collection of Holocaust-related artefacts, testimonies and archival documents. The VHEC offers educational programs and supports educators through professional development, and access to resources, school programs and events. The VHEC also presents commemorative programs, book launches, film screenings, public programs and conferences for teachers. The VHEC’s teaching philosophy emphasizes an interactive approach, encouraging exchanges between docents and students/visitors, through exhibition tours, as well as educational workshops in schools and virtual platforms. Project Hastings is a high-school student-led nonprofit organization that combats poverty and hunger in the Vancouver, Downtown Eastside through monthly meal and care package distributions. Since 2020, Project Hastings has distributed over 10,000 sandwiches and has had assistance from over 150 volunteers from the Metro Vancouver area.

We are an independent organization managed by volunteers, whose purpose is to celebrate the French National Day, July 14, and to discover the French presence by sharing our culture with the people of Vancouver. The Bastille Day Festival Society is open to anyone wishing to get involved as volunteer in the organization of this event.

TES Theatre Company exists to offer young people safe, inclusive, and supportive programs in which to flex their creativity and realize their authentic visions for theatrical production. We are absolutely unique in that we give participants the reins to envision, plan, produce, direct, craft, and of course perform, in their own theatrical works. The achievements are wholly their own. Based on democratic principles of education, in which young people are afforded value, respect, and latitude, and in which young people are fully welcomed to be themselves, TES Theatre Company takes emerging artists seriously. Hand Me Down Raise Me Up is an online fundraising platform that sells second hand items donated by students to students (clothing/books). All proceeds will be given to Canada’s UNICEF Children’s fund, which will be used to provide nourishment, healthcare, and education for children in need around the world. This allows students to have cheaper and more direct access to second hand learning resources such as textbooks, study guides, and workbooks. This further promotes sustainability by stimulating reuse of items that would have otherwise been neglected.

The West 4th Avenue Khatsahlano Street Party is Vancouver’s largest free Music + Arts Festival! Created with love in 2011 by the members of the Kitsilano West 4th Avenue Business Association, Khatsahlano, features multiple stages showcasing more than 50 of Vancouver’s top musical performers as well as the eclectic work of local artisans and street performers. This 10-block street fair, spanning from Burrard to MacDonald Street also features a wide variety of food options, bustling patios, giveaways, special activities, and licensed beer gardens!
