The labyrinth is open to all people as a meditative, spiritual practice and cross-cultural tool of well-being.

The Stroke Recovery Association of BC (SRABC), doing business as After Stroke BC, has been providing services, education and advocacy to those affected by stroke, throughout every stage of recovery, since 1979. Our mission is to empower survivors to live fulfilling, independent lives post-stroke. We do this by providing participant-centred, barrier-free (including cost-free) stroke recovery programs in over 30 communities across BC. We provide education, resources and hope to stroke survivors, their families, friends and caregivers. We raise awareness regarding the impact of stroke, stroke recovery resources and benefits available in our province, and share information on the prevention of stroke. We also act as a resource for health care professionals and others concerned with the effect of stroke on individuals and their families.
After Stroke BC is a proud affiliate of After Stroke, a program of March of Dimes Canada.

The Bicycle Valet is a social enterprise run by the non-profit charitable organization, Better Environmentally Sound Transportation (BEST). Our goal is to eliminate barriers to sustainable transportation, in this case by providing a safe place for people to keep their bicycles (and bicycle accessories).
This summer we're partnering with the Vancouver Police Department and Project 529 at Granville Island to try out a new project, attacking bike theft from as many different angles as possible. We'll have our valet open 7 days/week, be educating the public on best locking practices, registering bikes with Project 529, collecting data on current locking practices, as well as conducting a survey looking at transportation choices made by all people traveling to Granville Island.
HOPE exists as a platform to inspire innovative solutions to broken systems. Whether providing short-term relief, or building long-term systems, we believe that the best answers are global in concept, local in execution, and limitless in their ability to create and inspire change. We work with young people to empower their local and global communities. We are connected to 52 non-profit partners, have HOPE branches in 12 high schools and 6 universities, and involve over 3000 youth in our network annually. We believe that youth can be doing much more as humanitarians, so we create spaces and systems that facilitate this.

The Looking Glass Foundation strives to support individuals struggling with eating disorders and disordered eating. We offer innovative and accessible programs and services that decrease isolation, instill hope, and sustain recovery for individuals on their road to recovery. As a Foundation, we are aware of the harsh realities of eating disorders, the stigma that exists around these mental illnesses, and the work that still needs to be done in addressing treatment access and gaps. All of our work is grounded in hope, compassion, accessibility and accountability. Every day, we hear and share inspiring stories of our friends, loved ones, colleagues, and community members who have recovered and are thriving. Knowing this, we continue the fight against eating disorders, while sharing the message that recovery is possible. We understand the journey and we are here to help.
Our Vision: A province where everyone who suffers from an eating disorder receives the services they need to support their recovery, and where the stigma of this mental illness is replaced with compassion and understanding.
Our Mission: Looking Glass Foundation’s programs and services decrease isolation, instill hope, and sustain recovery for individuals across British Columbia who are impacted by eating disorders.
