The Elizabeth Bagshaw Society is a registered charity and non-profit that operates EBWC, an accredited medical facility by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC. The Society is run by a volunteer Board of Directors, which is elected by the membership at the Annual General Meeting (AGM).

George Pearson Centre is a residential, long term care facility for adults with disabilities. Adults of all ages live at George Pearson and require care for many different reasons. Many residents have extensive physical disabilities including persons with acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis and other neurological disabilities.

VOLUNTEER ROLES:

We have several different volunteer roles at this location including: 1 to 1 Visiting, Recreation, Community Outings, Cards & Games, Artworks. Volunteers get the opportunity to work 1 on 1 with the residents while assisting staff with the activities and therapeutic programs. It's a great way to help others and gain more experience in a residential setting.

It's a collective effort to bring about positive change and accelerate progress towards ending Parkinson's once and for all.
