We are a non-profit association promoting Birth and Postpartum Doula support for families in British Columbia, Canada. Our mission is to raise awareness about the role of Birth and Postpartum Doulas within BC, to provide a referral service to BC families, and to deliver continuing education to its members, health care professionals, and the public at large.

We are looking for a 3 month volunteer to help create social media campaigns.  There is a potential that this role would become paid after 3 months.

We're an up and coming online platform offering pilates & physiotherapy programs for specific demographics.   We have a strong brand and we are looking for someone to take our social media to the next level!

 

The Elizabeth Bagshaw Women’s Clinic (EBWC) is committed to providing reproductive and abortion care in a safe, confidential and calm atmosphere. Over our 50-year history, FBC has contributed critical funding for the development of sight-saving treatments and cures for blinding eye diseases. By raising and stewarding funds, FBC is helping drive forward research that supports our goal of understanding why vision loss occurs, how it can be slowed and how sight can be restored.

We are an invaluable resource for individuals and families impacted by blindness, providing accurate eye health information through our website and educational events, as well as engaging with government and other stakeholders to advance better vision health policies.

George Pearson Centre is a residential, long term care facility for adults with disabilities. Adults of all ages live at George Pearson and require care for many different reasons. Many residents have extensive physical disabilities including persons with acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis and other neurological disabilities.

VOLUNTEER ROLES:

We have several different volunteer roles at this location including: 1 to 1 Visiting, Recreation, Community Outings, Cards & Games, Artworks. Volunteers get the opportunity to work 1 on 1 with the residents while assisting staff with the activities and therapeutic programs. It's a great way to help others and gain more experience in a residential setting.
