Project Empathic seeks to bridge the gap between elementary school students and unhoused people through card-making, detailing homelessness and creating a sense of community.
We aim to elevate the voices of unhoused people by teaching the students why card-making and further actions are important through educational workshops so society may develop empathy and unlearn the stigma of homelessness.

Since Punjabi Schools and Traditional methods of learning Punjabi were challenged during the lockdown, we have created a system that allows you to take full benefit of learning Punjabi and getting your volunteer hours based on your availability and flexibility in your schedule.

Join the 2022 School Helpers Tutoring Team! School Helpers is a non-profit, student-run tutoring organization, with students and tutors across Canada. Formed in 2020 by a high school student, School Helpers aims to support families and students during the challenging time of COVID-19. All tutors are volunteer high school/undergraduate university students (ages 13-22), and all tutoring occurs online.

School Helpers tutors are subject to the responsibility of conducting/organizing online tutoring sessions and catering their lessons in such a way that best suits the learning style of their student(s). Tutors must be able to help their student(s) in at least one of the following subjects: English, Social Studies, Math, Science, or French. Any additional subjects that are not previously mentioned are also encouraged (please specify this in the application). - Provided free online educator resources on ocean and freshwater plastic pollution to over 54,500 students in 17 countries.
- Designed and launched an Oceans Plastics Education Kit that reached over 387,000 students in over 20 countries.

We operate free running and reading clubs once a week at partner elementary schools that focus on physical activity and literacy development. Students work towards completing a 5km run by the end of the program and also participate in reading challenges. These clubs run from October to the end of May.
