ASK Friendship Society
About Us
ASK Friendship Society is a Vancouver-based non-profit organization with over 45 years of experience supporting seniors through inclusive, community-driven programs. One of the first Adult Day Programs (ADPs) in the city, ASK was founded by volunteers responding to a growing social need and has continued to evolve to meet the changing realities of aging.
ASK provides adult day programming, social connection, meals, and supportive services that promote independence, dignity, and well-being for seniors—particularly those experiencing isolation, cognitive change, or complex health needs. Programs are designed to be culturally responsive, accessible, and rooted in strong relationships with participants, caregivers, volunteers, and community partners.
With a long-standing commitment to collaboration and innovation, ASK plays an important role in Vancouver’s continuum of care, supporting seniors to remain active, engaged, and connected to their communities.
