It’s about that time again...the 23rd Annual Eastside Culture Crawl is coming up and you told us via our website that you’re interested in Volunteering with us!

Every year, we count on our amazing Volunteers to help make the festival a success- and this year we have teamed up with some incredible sponsors and once again have an exciting list of perks and prizes for our team, including treats from Opus, De Serres, Earnest Ice Cream, Evo, Vancouver Art Gallery, and Mobi Bikes- just to name a few!

 

AND THERE’S MORE! Volunteers are entered to WIN a pair of tickets to the 2020 PuSh International Performing Arts Festival! One entry for every shift you work- more shifts, more chances to win!

We’re looking for many hands on deck this year, so grab a friend and let me know to schedule you together!

Crawl Concierge 

Stationed at the Crawl Booth, our Crawl Concierge will be there to answer questions, give directions and sell Crawl Merchandise to our attendees! This role involves key knowledge of facts, locations, and services available at the Crawl. Training will be provided.

 

Crawl Ambassadors

You make it all happen! Circulating throughout all studios in East Vancouver, our Ambassadors hand out our Crawl Guides, answer visitor questions and are there to help wherever needed! This position will be mainly on your feet and is very active, allowing you to visit many of the studios throughout your shift.

Counters

Help us keep track of how many people attend the Culture Crawl! You will be positioned at the busiest parts of the Crawl, which see the most action! This position can involve sitting or standing.

The Volunteer shifts are as follows:

 

Thursday, Nov 14th: 5 pm – 10 pm

 

Friday, Nov 15th: 5 pm – 10 pm

 

Saturday Nov 16th: Shift 1- 11 am- 2:30 pm Shift 2- 2:30 pm- 6pm

 

Sunday Nov 17th: Shift 1- 11 am- 2:30 pm Shift 2- 2:30 pm- 6pm

In addition to the Crawl (Nov. 14th-17th) we have a few other Volunteering opportunities- so read on for all of the details!

DISTRIBUTION TEAM (New!) 

First week of November

This year we’ve teamed up with JJ Bean in our first city-wide promotional campaign, bringing Crawl Guides to JJ Bean locations OUTSIDE of East Vancouver! That’s right- we’re leaving the nest! Our Distribution Team will pick up one or more boxes of Crawl Guides and deliver them to different JJ Beans around the city. *Must be able to lift and transport 15lbs, own car a plus!

PERK: All distribution Volunteers will receive 30 minutes of FREE Evo minutes, to be used after deliveries!

TAKE FLIGHT

Saturday, November 2nd

We’re looking for a few hands to help with set-up, food and bar service at our annual launch event at Arts Factory. This is a fun evening filled with socializing and previewing work from some of our Crawl artists! These shits go quickly so snap them up while you can!
