Opportunity Description:

We’re looking for a summer volunteer to help with our Plenty of Plates events.

As a Plenty of Plates Assistant, you will play a vital role in the seamless execution of our events, supporting the managerial team in both the preparation and facilitation of memorable dining experiences for our community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Event Setup:  Assist the managerial team in organizing and preparing the diner and kitchen areas before events.
• Printed Materials Preparation: Design, prepare, and print all necessary event materials such as menus, recipes, and feedback cards using Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Canva.
• Data Management: Keep Plenty of Plates’ statistics and digital documents current and accurate, utilizing Google Sheets and Google Docs.
• Volunteer Feedback Processing: Manage volunteer feedback responses using Keela and Google Sheets, ensuring insights are effectively captured and actioned.
• Volunteer Coordination: Oversee volunteer attendance, managing confirmations, and ensuring a well-organized volunteer roster.
• Event Participation: Attend and support events as needed, ensuring smooth operations.
• Community Engagement: Print and distribute community invite tickets, ensuring all members feel welcomed and included.
• Ticket Tracking: Manage ticket data, ensuring accurate tracking and reconciliation post-event.
• Guest & Volunteer Support: Provide exceptional support to both guests and volunteers, enhancing their event experience.
