Are you enthusiastic about supporting local small businesses? Join us as a volunteer at this year’s Portobello West Holiday Market and help contribute to the welfare of our community!

Portobello West is on the lookout for enthusiastic volunteers for their annual Holiday Market on Saturday, November 25th and Sunday, November 26th, 2023. This year’s market is open from 10am – 5pm and will showcase over 65 local BC vendors with engaging activities and captivating products for all!

Portobello West seeks individuals with passion, dedicated to our local art and design community. If you have an interest in both meeting new people and creativity, we welcome you to be a part of our volunteer team!

Key Responsibilities Include:

Assistance with Setup and Takedown: Set up and take down Portobello West marketing materials.
Customer Interaction: Engage with market visitors in a friendly manner, redirecting them to staff if they have any questions.
Vendor Support: Help vendors with their needs throughout the day, giving them breaks, and answering questions.
Crowd and Venue Support: Help manage the flow of foot traffic and keep the venue clean to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
