Opportunity Description:

Be part of making your community a safer and better place to live by joining our team of volunteers. Training is provided by the Vancouver Police and Hastings Sunrise Community Policing Centre.

Part-time positions are available on these programs:

• foot patrol
• road safety
• outreach work
• office work
• newsletters and graphic design

 Requirements:

• Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident
• 18 years of age or older
• willing to consent to and pass a VPD Criminal Record Check
• comfortable working with the public and a team player
• able to converse and write in English
• willing to volunteer a minimum of 8 hours per month
