Opportunity Description:

DISHWASHER/PREP- Community kitchen Downtown Eastside | Volunteers to wash dishes or do food prep for our low cost, not for profit, kitchen Concession at Carnegie Community Centre in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. We require Dishwashers on an ONGOING basisAvailable shifts are 9 am to 1 pm, 1 pm to 5 pm and 5 pm 10 pm, 7 days a week. VOLUNTEERING AT CARNEGIE IS EASY! Our program is specifically designed to offer the maximum flexibility to our volunteers – we will work WITH you in formulating a volunteer schedule that REALLY WORKS! Many skills learned here are EASILY transferable to the working world! Add a letter of reference on City of Vancouver letterhead (we are run by the City of Vancouver) and you are well on your way!
