Opportunity Description:

We are currently looking for volunteers at the Whitecaps FC game on July 9th and was wondering if you would be interested in helping out as well! There will be two booths set up outside and inside of the arena at the Whitecaps Game (Whitecaps vs. Colorado) and will be promoting MKGG through trivia games, giveaways, showcasing our MKGG video on IPad’s and encouraging registration for our main event in September. Please read through the details below and let me know if you are able to help out! Make sure you indicate your preferred location (inside or outside of the arena) and preferred role. We will try our best to accommodate but it will be filled on a first come first serve basis. Mt. Kilimanjaro Grouse Grind for Alzheimer’s – Whitecaps Game July 9th! (Alzheimer Society of BC) Date: Saturday, July 9th, 2016 Location: BC Place Time: 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm (TBC) Roles: Varied (see below) 1. Trivia Volunteers (Currently full): looking for 2 -3 volunteers to help with the Spin to Win wheel, asking trivia questions and handing out prizes 2. Registration Volunteers: looking for 4 volunteers to manage the IPads and show individuals the MKGG video in order to raise awareness and interest in hopes that some people might register for the main event in September. 3. Information’s Rovers: Looking for 2-3 volunteers to walk around asking people if they have heard of MKGG and if they would like to register. Volunteers will help direct individuals to our MKGG tent and will have small posters to hand out. If you are interested and available that day, please let me know or if you have any interested friends/family who would like to volunteer, please send them my way – the more the merrier.
