Do you have a passion for science? Do you have excellent communication skills? Jit Jots has a perfect opportunity for you! We are a passion project founded by UBC undergraduate science students. Our goal is to spread our love for science through hosting fun and engaging in-person workshops for community centre youth programs. These workshops are designed to inspire a passion for science in youth through experiment demonstrations, hands-on activities, and activity sheets, all created by our awesome team.
As a volunteer for our outreach team, you may be assigned the following tasks:
Brainstorming ideas for gaining sponsorships
Planning fundraiser events
Look for after school care programs, daycares, and schools across Vancouver for workshops
