PARKINSON SOCIETY BRITISH COLUMBIA

Parkinson Society British Columbia (PSBC) is a non-profit organization established in 1969 and is governed by a voluntary Board of Directors. It is supported by donations from individuals, members, corporations, foundations, and the dedicated efforts of volunteers. Our mission is to empower the Parkinson’s community in British Columbia by providing resources and services to enable self-management, self-reliance, and self-advocacy.

PARKINSON SUPERWALK

Parkinson SuperWalk is the single most important awareness and fundraising event for Parkinson Society BC and its national partner, Parkinson Canada. Since 1990, SuperWalk has provided a platform for increasing awareness of the needs of those affected by Parkinson’s disease. Funds raised support PSBC’s programs, support services, advocacy efforts, and contributions to research.

We need volunteers from around 6:45am – 1:00pm (the shift varies depending on the role). We are looking for the following volunteers:

– Course Marshal
– Registration Attendant
– T-Shirt Table Attendant
– Food Table Attendant
– Timer Table Attendant
– Parking Attendant
– Information/Form Table Attendant
– Greeter
– Volunteer Tent Attendant
