We are an Indigenous non-profit organization providing services and programs for our community to acknowledge our past, present and future generations. Through our various events and programs, we provide support services for indigenous children, youth, individuals and families.

Who you are:
We are looking for someone who is energetic, positive, outgoing, and qualified to assist our Social Media Manager with some admin-related tasks. Strong and clear communication as well as a genuine interest for helping the community is fundamental for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Communicate with newly accepted social media volunteers
Add their contact information to the contact sheet
Share FRIS google drive with new volunteers
Direct new volunteers to the welcome package and orientation video
Email the zoom meeting reminder on a weekly basis to the social media team
Assist the SMM with organizing the social media post spreadsheet and filling in the gaps when necessary, ex. writing an occasional post caption for a social media post (caption writing is not expected to happen very often)
Supporting the SMM with communicating with the team
*It would be a big bonus for us if you feel confident to facilitate the occasional weekly meeting with our volunteer social media team
This would consist of you going over a short agenda that would be provided to you
