Opportunity Description:

The South Vancouver Neighborhood House has recently established a food hub located in the gymnasium of the old YMCA building on Cambie and 49th. We are one of the only food programs in the Sunset, Victoria- Fraserview and Killarney neighborhoods. We acknowledge that our community is home to many new immigrants, seniors living alone, migrant workers, young families and people of colour; we strive to provide the most accessible, culturally appropriate services for all our neighbors. Throughout the week, we are sorting, receiving and packing grocery boxes, preparing for deliveries and pick ups! With the help of all our amazing volunteers, we are happy to serve almost 200 households across South East “Vancouver”. We are currently looking for more volunteers to join our expanding programs and team!

Please fill out the attached Google form or send an email to Hannah at hannah.leong@southvan.org if you are interested!
