Hope Air (Event Volunteer- Vancouver Sun Run on behalf of Hope Air)

• Appropriate for volunteers aged between 18 and 55
• Appropriate for volunteers aged 55 and over

The Vancouver Sun Run is a 10K race taking place on April 21, 2024 benefitting Hope Air.

Although not designed as a charity event, the Vancouver Sun Run is proud to have donated more than $3.3 million in proceeds for important causes since 1985 and this year the proceeds will be donated to Hope Air.  

Hope Air is a national charity that provides free air travel, hotel accommodation, ground transportation and meal subsidies, for patients and escorts in financial need, who are travelling to access medical care.

We need Event Volunteers! The available roles are:

Cheerleaders/sweepers at the Mini Sun Run, then continue to cheer for the 10K Elite runners and other participants (approx. time 7am-10am)
Finish Line ambassadors – pack goodies for the late finishers/walkers, distribute their goody bag from the outside tent and cheer them on as they cross the finish line (approx. time 11am-2pm)
