Opportunity Description:

The Social Media Specialist works closely with Social Media team in order to develop, and deliver marketing promotion for the Carnaval Del Sol in different social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter etc.  The Social Media Specialist creates a strategy that generates inbound leads, gains followers and creates a positive image for Carnaval Del Sol.

 

Job Summary

Design, create and manage promotions and social media content in social media on a daily basis
Become an advocate for Carnaval Del Sol in Social Media spaces
Actively build personal relations with users by monitoring and initiating social media dialogues
Continuously improve by analyzing appropriate social data, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
Collaborate with other departments to ensure image consistency
Develop all the content and calendar including all requirements from partners and sponsors
Manage current posts according to social media calendar
Increase our followers numbers according to marketing goals
Create interact posts
Promote our hashtag #ShineTogether
Manage, maintain and grow presence of Carnaval Del Sol in social media
Work closely with Social Medial, Marketing & Graphic Design teams to gather all needed information for campaigns

 

Skills & Responsibilities

Ability to work towards deadline
Ability to work with flexibility energy and commitment
Regularly evaluate the success of social media efforts on Instagram
Familiar with current social media trends
Ideate new and unique campaigns, promotions, and themes
Strong written and verbal communications skills in English
Previous experience in social media marketing is an asset
Knowledge of Spanish or Portuguese is an asset
