Opportunity Description:

 

The Vendors Specialist is in charge of communicating with potential and existing vendors in order to identify both sales opportunities and find solutions for vendors’ problems. The person in this position is part of the sales team and reports to the sales team lead.

 

Job Summary and Key Responsibilities

  • Search all possible vendors reach them via email, or phone
  • Update the Vendors List on the drive
  • Create a speech and a model email to send them
  • Help the Sales Lead to develop a Vendors Package (Work closely with Graphic Design Team)
  • Prepare contracts for Food Vendor, Business Vendor and Non Profit Vendor
  • Work closely with Financial Team to take payment
  • Make sure that we are supplying all the needs for each vendor during the festival
  • Send them Thank You notes after the event
  • Record all the contracts, invoices and receipts of  payment on the Drive
  • Schedule meetings with all vendor before Carnaval and stay in touch with them until the event coming
  • Make sure of proper promotion of  vendors in our pages, posters, banners if part of agreement
  • Search for new business on a daily basis
  • Responsible for providing name tags for vendors before events
  • Providing information on the company services
  • Follow up on leads to generate new sales opportunity
  • Negotiate, prepare and manage proposals and contracts
  • Establish maintain and develop excellent and long lasting relationship with vendors

  • Have strong written and verbal communications skills in English
  • Ability to multitask and work towards deadlines
  • Strong problem solving skills and positive attitude
  • Ready to take sales calls from and to potential vendors
  • Ability to work as a team as well as independently on projects
  • Ability to work with flexibility energy and commitment
  • Previous experience in customer relations and/or sales is an asset
  • Knowledge of Spanish or Portuguese is an asset
