Opportunity Description:

Open the world of reading to a child and become a volunteer tutor! 

ONE TO ONE Literacy Society is looking for enthusiastic, compassionate, and open-minded individuals to share the joy of reading with children in their community. Volunteer tutors develop a connection with their readers that will help them feel successful and confident with their reading skills.

For fall 2023, are looking for volunteer tutors for our in-person program in Vancouver and Lower Mainland elementary schools. Our volunteer tutors read one-on-one with students in grades 1-7 one morning (9:00 am-noon) or afternoon (1:00-3:00 pm) each week throughout the school year.
