Opportunity Description:

DASH is seeking volunteer leaders for a walking school bus program in Vancouver and North Vancouver during the 2021-2022 school year. Volunteers will accompany children on their walk to and from school. Volunteer leaders will work in pairs with a group of up to 10 children for a fun and active start and end to the school day. We are asking volunteers to commit to a weekly shift, or sign-up to be “on-call” when other leaders can’t make it. Shifts are school days at approximately 8:15AM to 8:45AM and 3:10PM to 3:40PM.

Volunteers can sign-up to be a leader for Vancouver Schools (Lord Selkirk Annex, Trafalgar Elementary and/or Cunningham-Carleton Elementary) or North Vancouver Schools (Queen Mary Elementary, Ridgeway Elementary and/or Westview Elementary).
