Opportunity Description:

Want to be a part of Vancouver’s largest visual arts event of the year? The 2018 Eastside Culture Crawl is looking for Volunteers! Our 4-day festival attracts 20,000+ attendees into the studios of 500+ artists across East Vancouver every year.

 

Our Volunteer Program has expanded, with new positions and an exciting list of perks and prizes for our team! We count on our amazing Volunteers to help make the festival a success- and this year we have teamed up with some incredible sponsors to make sure your Volunteer experience is the best ever!

 

THERE’S MORE! Volunteers who work 2+ shifts will be entered to WIN a Tickets to the 2019 PuSh International Performing Arts Festival!

 

VOLUNTEER ROLES

 

Crawl Concierge *NEW!

Stationed at our new Crawl Booth, our Crawl Concierge will be there to answer questions, give directions and sell Crawl Merchandise to our attendees! This role involves key knowledge of facts, locations and services available at the Crawl. Training will be provided.

 

MODO Shuttle Drivers *NEW! (Saturday and Sunday ONLY)

Help bring the people to the art! Our Drivers will shuttle attendees on a set route around East Vancouver. Ideally these Volunteers are available to work BOTH Saturday and Sunday shifts (3hrs each).  These Volunteers will receive FREE Bonus MODO Minutes! MUST have a clean driving record, be a MODO Member (or willing to sign up).

 

Crawl Ambassadors

You make it all happen! Circulating throughout all studios in East Vancouver, our Ambassadors hand out our Crawl Guides, answer questions and are there to help wherever needed! This position will be mainly on your feet and is a ton of fun!

 

Counters

Help us keep track of how many people attend the Culture Crawl! You will be positioned at the busiest parts of the Crawl, which see the most action! This position can involve sitting or standing.

 

The Volunteer shifts are as follows:

 

Thursday, Nov 15th: 5:30- 9:30 pm

 

Friday, Nov 16th: 5:30-9:30 pm

 

Saturday Nov 17th: Shift 1– 11 am- 2:30 pm Shift 2– 2:30 pm- 6pm

 

Sunday Nov 18th: Shift 1– 11 am- 2:30 pm Shift 2– 2:30 pm- 6pm
