Company Overview:

The Asian-Canadian Special Events Association is a Vancouver-based non-profit organization that creates sustainable projects in the areas of arts and culture, and works with partners across British Columbia, Ontario, and internationally. ACSEA is guided by our mandate for Community Engagement, Fostering New Artistic and Cultural Expressions, and Creating a Platform to Learn and Share.

ACSEA has a long history of curating and producing large events, including a very successful partnership with the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics Cultural Olympiad. Our signature events are spread throughout the year: LunarFest near the end of winter, TAIWANfest in the summer, and “We Are Canadians, Too!” event in partnership with Canadian Heritage and Canada 150.

Event Overview:

TAIWANfest, the largest English/Mandarin bilingual cultural festival in Canada, will celebrate its 30th anniversary this summer. Continuing the “Dialogue with Asia” series, the festival will be presented under the theme “Riding the Waves with Vietnam”, bringing opportunity to gain valuable experience exploring and learning about Vietnamese and Taiwanese cultures!
