Uno a Uno is an organization that works with local leaders in Ecuador’s underserved communities to provide innovative education, empowering people of all ages to realize their potential and transform their lives.

Parkbus connects city dwellers with nature through affordable transportation options. Founded in 2010, we operate bus services to National and Provincial Parks from major cities across Canada. We also operate community nature and outdoor programs such as ActiveDays and NatureLink. In British Columbia, Parkbus programs are run by BEST, a non-profit charitable organization with a long history promoting sustainable transportation. In the rest of Canada, our programs are run by Transportation Options, an Ontario-based non-profit organization dedicated to fostering sustainable tourism and transportation.

Community theatre

The Multicultural Helping House Society Newcomer Resource Centre (MHHS -NRC) is a registered non-profit society and charitable organization dedicated to serving the needs of newcomers to Canada.  In its 20-year history, the MHHS-NRC has provided assistance to thousands of new immigrants in addressing their needs from settlement, employment, social services, skills enhancement, respite housing, legal assistance, and education services.

The Roedde House Preservation Society is dedicated to the preserving, maintaining and enhancing of the Roedde House Museum and to presenting heritage exhibits and programs reflecting the early history of Vancouver for the benefit and enjoyment of present and future generations. Since the Museum’s official opening in May, 1990, the Roedde House Preservation Society has run Roedde House as a threefold facility: a museum with guided tours, including an active schools program, a venue for music and other entertainment, a rental facility for small receptions.

Kia Ora Vancouver connects New Zealand expats, Canadians, 'Caniwis'​ and those with Kiwi links to our dynamic New Zealand community in British Columbia. By hosting social, sporting and business events we bring our Kiwi community closer together and create greater engagement in our continually expanding network.

Plastic Oceans Foundation Canada, a Federally Incorporated NFP, and Canadian Registered Charity, is a Plastic Awareness Coalition, utilizing the power of film and other media to educate Canadians to “rethink plastic” and inspire behavioral change. Working in collaboration with like-minded organisations across Canada we are combining efforts to solve a global problem through local action. We aim to educate Canadians to become plastic literate, so they can make informed decisions about how and when they accept plastic and challenge society’s perception that this indestructible substance can be treated as ‘disposable’. We must solve the problem within a generation. Our Charitable Purposes: To promote the conservation and protection of the natural aquatic environment in Canada (and the world) for the benefit of the public by educating the public on the dangers of plastic waste by: producing and distributing educational films, videos, documents, and other informative materials and resources; and presenting lectures, workshops, seminars and group discussions. To carry out activities ancillary and incidental to the above charitable purposes

The C.O.D.E. Initiative is a non-profit organization with the goal to support the personal, educational, and career development of children on the Autism Spectrum through teaching them the fundamentals of computer programming. We put a heavy emphasis on providing a one-to-one student-to-teacher ratio to provide undivided support for our students.   We are currently looking for volunteers to join our team! Dusty Flowerpot Cabaret is the producer of the annual Parade of Lost Souls which takes place at Britannia Community Centre

The Green Party of Vancouver was founded in 1984, and has elected representatives to School Board, Park Board and City Council. In 2011, Adriane Carr - one of the party's original founders - was elected as Vancouver's first ever Green City Councillor. In 2014 she was re-elected at the top of the polls, receiving more votes than any city councillor in the history of Vancouver. 2014 also saw the Green Party of Vancouver elect the largest caucus of Greens in Canada. In addition to Councillor Adriane Carr, Stuart Mackinnon was elected for a second term on Park Board (he previously served from 2008-2011) along with rookie Green Park Board Commissioner Michael Wiebe, who became Park Board chair at the end of 2016. Stuart was appointed Park Board chair in December 2017. Janet Fraser was elected to School Board, where she held the balance of power on a split Board and served as Vice Chair until the entire Board was fired by the BC Liberal government in 2016. More Greens were elected in 2017 by-election , with our School Board candidates winning the top three spots in a 9-seat by-election. Janet Fraser, now Chair of the VSB, returned along with two newcomers, Estrellita Gonzalez and Judy Zaichkowsky. All of our elected Greens have one thing in common: they are appreciated by Vancouverites who value the principled leadership and creativity they bring to their elected bodies, their strong democratic principles, and their readiness to listen to what citizens have to say and then to be a voice for them at the decision-making table. Together, the Green Party of Vancouver team is your independent voice on Council, Park Board and School Board. The labyrinth at St. Paul’s is a walking meditation space. Based on the medieval floor pattern at Chartres Cathedral in France, it features a singular path in to the centre of the space and back out again. Waking a labyrinth can be a way to quiet the mind, find balance, encourage insight and reflection. The labyrinth is open to all people as a non-denominational, cross-cultural tool of well-being. Regular operating hours with walking in silence or to recorded or live music. Special events throughout the year. The labyrinth is managed by the St. Paul's labyrinth guild.
