BC & Alberta Guide Dogs breeds, raises and professionally trains Guide Dogs for individuals who are blind/visually-impaired, and Autism Support Dogs for children with moderate to profound autism aged 3-10 and their families. It takes two years and upwards of $35,000 to produce one certified dog, provided free of charge to the recipient.

Mission
To protect and enhance the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in British Columbia.
Vision statement
To inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals enjoy as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

<li>Freedom from pain, injury, and disease</li>
<li>Freedom from distress</li>
<li>Freedom from discomfort</li>
<li>Freedom to express behaviours that promote well-being.</li>

Beach Clean Up Organization

Beach Clean Up Organization is a non-profit organization that dedicates to environmental protection. We provide volunteer opportunities for local high school students who are willing to join us and help to clean up White Rock Beach. We will voluntarily clean up all the waste on White Rock Beach.

Our mission is to connect every youth in Metro Vancouver with the natural environment and to the Metro Vancouver Regional Parks system and surrounding communities, in a hands-on way, to provide life changing experiences.

CTS delivers on our mission by providing accessible weekend overnight camps for free to youth ages 12-18. We also promote youth leadership with our Peer Leader program, allowing youth ages 15-18 to take a central role in the operation and planning of our summer weekend overnight camps, providing them with training session from November-June. The programs goal is to:
<ol>
<li>Create region-wide opportunities for youth to challenge themselves in leadership, social responsibility and personal development;</li>
<li>Provide an opportunity for youth to connect with their communities through citizen action, environmental stewardship, public service and community education;</li>
<li>Help support and integrate youth into park and community associated activities and purposes.</li>

Cool North Shore is a local non-profit society that has been working to support citizens from Deep Cove to Lions Bay to take action on climate change and sustainability since 2007. Our main programs are Cool Drinks, a bi-monthly speaker series, and Cool Neighbourhoods, a community driven initiative focused on helping residents decrease energy consumption and increase their neighborhood’s resiliency and sustainability.
