The Vancouver International Marathon Society is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization. The Society relies on a dedicated group of over 4,000 invaluable support volunteers, with a single common thread – a love of wellness and the sport of long distance running.
The Centre for Sustainable Food Systems (CSFS), located at UBC Farm, is a unique research centre that aims to understand and fundamentally transform local and global food systems towards a more sustainable, food-secure future. The centre is a living laboratory, committed to finding solutions to both the local and global challenges facing food systems sustainability and translating solutions to improve personal, community, and environmental health.
The Vancouver Chinatown Spring Festival is back this year again! Scheduled for Sunday, February 14, 2016, we are going to celebrate the Lunar Chinese New Year - Year of the Money in Chinatown with dragon and lion dances, marching bands, martial arts performances from more than sixty parade teams. This is a time you don't want to miss for a day of multi-cultural art and performance, exploration of cuisine from different countries, and integration between various communities.
With over 100,000 participants, this spectacular event will need your contribution for making it safe, fun and successful. Event details as below:

CelticFest Vancouver is a non-profit Society registered in British Columbia since 2004.
The Society’s mission is to:
Bring together the local community in an annual festival celebration of Celtic Culture and the St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
Deliver education on global Celtic heritage, art and cultural traditions.

Growing Chefs! is a local charity that teaches kids about healthy food and healthy food systems by putting volunteers into elementary schools to lead lessons on urban gardening and healthy, sustainable eating. Through our hands-on program, kids learn to grow their own garden and are led through basic cooking lessons with the food they have grown themselves.

We are a public elementary school in Vancouver with a Parent Advisory Committee planning a Gala Fundraiser for a new Outdoor Greenscaping Project.
