LifeCycles cultivates community health from the ground up by connecting people, the food they eat and the land it comes from. We support people in gaining the knowledge, skills and resources they need to access or grow their own food in a way that fosters biodiversity and enhances our urban environment.

The Self Employment and Entrepreneur Development Society (SEEDS) is a business start up and development program dedicated to supporting the development of entrepreneurs and the growth of businesses in our community.

We are a non-profit association promoting Birth and Postpartum Doula support for families in British Columbia, Canada. Our mission is to raise awareness about the role of Birth and Postpartum Doulas within BC, to provide a referral service to BC families, and to deliver continuing education to its members, health care professionals, and the public at large.

The BC Artisan Marketing Society (BCAMS) has undertaken the establishment of a fund that will provide scholarships to deserving emerging artisans so they may continue their post graduate education and training. The fund is in its infancy, but will grow rapidly through public donations and sponsorships that the BCAMS will seek at the artisan market events it produces throughout the year. Once the fund reaches a sustainable level, scholarship amounts will be announced by the BCAMS directors and application criteria will be posted and invitations to apply distributed throughout the artisan community. A panel of accomplished artisans will make the final selection of the winner, chosen from among successful applicants.

The Push for Change Foundation believes all young people deserve to reach their full potential. The Push for Change believes inspired action can change the world. The Push for Change believes ending youth homelessness is possible.

Kids Help Phone is Canada's only national 24-hour, bilingual and anonymous phone counselling, web counselling and referral service for children and youth.

Central City supports charities and non-profit groups seeking to raise funds or increase awareness by providing free interior and exterior space at the centre. Throughout the year, Central City also hosts many events in-centre to raise funds for local charities in the Surrey area. The Plus One Mentoring program is for at risk youth in the community, ages 10-17. The youth meets with their mentor for 1 year (or 15 months maximum if need be). For the first 6 months of the program, the match is meeting once a week. During these meetings they will do various activities such as working out, playing sports, swimming, doing arts & crafts, baking etc. After 6 months, the match begins to meet less frequently; possibly once every 2 or 3 weeks depending on the youth's needs. During the time that the match is meeting, the youth will create 3 goals for the program to which the mentor will assist them in reaching these goals. The hope is that the youth leaves the Plus One Mentoring program having made positive changes in their life, and with skills that they can use to assist them on continuing to make positive changes and choices in life.

BCEdAccess Society is an entirely volunteer-run organization serving families of students with disabilities and complex learners all over the province of British Columbia. Our parent support group has over 1600 members and stories shared on our private discussion board daily illustrate the depth of the challenges families face in pursuing equitable access to education in BC schools. Our History: BCEdAccess began when a small group of parents gathered together in a Facebook group around the end of 2014. Tracy Humphreys set up this group because although she was able to find many great organizations of parents working together to support specific disabilities, there was none that gathered all of the parents together to discuss the issues that all of these groups have in common in trying to access education for their children. The group was fortunate to have some very strong and long-term parent advocates join as founding members, setting the tone and direction of the organization that has continued to today. What we do: On November 21, 2018, seeing that the need for this group is ongoing, we incorporated the BCEdAccess Society. Our Constitution and Purpose states: “We champion and support children and youth who have disabilities and who are complex learners to reach their full potential in BC education, and in all aspects of their lives. This is achieved through supporting families, sharing information, providing education to families, allies, professionals and students, providing community engagement and awareness, and other activities to promote equitable access to education and inclusion for all.”

Since 1954, the BC Lions have been an influential member of the Canadian professional sports scene. For more than sixty years, the club has provided countless memories and six Grey Cup titles to a devoted and loyal fan base.
